For those of you who are avid fans of the Twilight book series, then you would be happy to hear that the “Breaking Dawn” film will not be a rated r movie. If you have read the book, then you should know that the storyline includes Edward and Bella’s first sex scene, which is followed by an uncommon and bothersome birth. All of the innocent and chaste kissing scenes in the previous films have prepared us for what the screenwriters and producers will present to us in the upcoming Twilight film. This will present itself to be a challenging task for screenwriter, Melissa Rosenberg. She still claims that the next movie will still capture all of the intense intimacy and grotesque actions from the novel. However, Twilight’s producer, Wyck Godfrey, stated in his interview with Fearnet, that the movie will still remain as a PG-13 film.
“I’m unwavering in my belief that these will be PG-13 movies,” he states in the interview. “And really, I say that not because I know what we’re shooting but because I feel that they should be. I feel like the audience of the books and the movies, many of them are under 18; my ten-year-old son goes to these movies, I can’t make an R-rated conclusion to the franchise.”
While considering all of the remarks from Wyck, Rosenburg will have to be very clever if she wants to make this movie enjoyable for all Twilight fans of any age. Will she be able to pull this one off? Well, I don’t know. But, one thing can be guaranteed and that is that the Twilight “Breaking Dawn” movie will likely be one of the most entertaining & complete fills compared to all the others.
