Many of Miley Cyrus’s Hannah Montana fans were glued to the television this week for the premiere of the final season of the hit Disney television sitcom. However, although many of them have enjoyed Miley Stewart (her name on the show) over the years, some fans feel that she is abandoning them and the show.
Many of these statements were posted on twitter, facebook, and other social media platforms and it has angered some fans that she would abandon the sitcom, just to build her movie career. This week, Miley Cyrus responded to all of these comments on Access Hollywood. She stated,” Hannah Montana is nothing without me. I am Hannah Montana with a wig.” Miley strongly supported her decision to back away from the Disney series and she currently has no regrets for doing it.
Hannah Montana has been a hit television show on the Disney network for the past three seasons and it will be ending with its fourth & final season this year. Miley Cyrus believes that she has changed a lot since the series began back in March 2006. She was only 13 years old at the time and was the perfect individual to portray the life of an average teenage school girl by day and the famous pop singer by night. However, now, Cyrus is maturing into a young adult and is ready to evolve into other areas of acting and entertainment.
